Blue Box Romance Manga To Get Anime

An anime adaptation of Kouji Miura’s Blue Box manga (Ao no Hako) has been announced with a teaser visual. Shouya Chiba and Ueda Reina are starring as lead characters Taiki and Chinatsu, respectively.

The Shueisha-published manga started as a 2020 one-shot. The serialized version of Blue Box began in 2021 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Twelve volumes have been published under the Jump Comics label as of October 2023.

Viz Media describes the plot as:

Taiki admires Chinatsu from afar, but he doubts that she sees him in the same way. Yet somehow, he musters up the courage to tell her to never give up on her dreams! After such a bold declaration, will Taiki’s fleeting high school romance finally begin?
